December 2018
On December 2018 after getting back into digital photography I got very interested into starting and learning film photography.
Since I already had a few Leica Lenses it made complete sense to just buy a body to go with it. Especially a film one. Leica film cameras are like pieces of history. They are mechanical marvels. Sometimes built more than 70 years ago and still working like they’re new. After looking for the right Leica online I decided to go on and buy a Leica M6.
After receiving my M6 I started shooting film. A lot of film. That first month I tried a wide variety of film brands, so I could experiment with different ISOs, film prices & styles. One of the most popular films to start with is Kodak Colorplus 200, mostly because of quality for the price.
Another popular and cheap film is Kodak Ultramax 400. Being a 400 ISO, it is a very versatile film. Ideal for both indoors and outdoors.
