New Beginnings
My spring and summer 2017 were packed with events. I was very focused with my life and started taking less pictures overall. I am still glad I would carry my Fujifilm X100F in a pocket and snap a few rare pictures.
April is one of the best month to be in San Francisco. Sunny 75F (24C) everyday. I spent my month enjoying the city parks and spring festivals. On the hot days I would go to the beach and enjoy one of those windless days where San Francisco feels like Barcelona.
In May I did an impromptu trip to Tahoe for Memorial Week end. The snow fall had been so strong that year that it was still difficult or impossible to hike very deep on the trails without snow shoes.
In June 2016 I had the immense luck to go to a NBA finals game in the Oracle Arena in Oakland. A good friend that loves basketball had purchased a few tickets for the finals and invited me to come. What a dream! I had been following the Golden State Warrior for a few years now, but going to a live game against their nemesis Lebron James on a Finals game was an amazing treat!

After living 6 years in the West Coast I finally had the luck to go visit Hawaii! Nicole and I took advantage of her summer break with school to go for a quick week to Kauai. And it was unforgettable. We surfed, met local second generation Waikiki beach boys, ate poke nearly everyday, explored the rugged mountains of Waimea Canyon and the shores of the Na Pali reserve.
